You enter a pickup location and your travel dates, we show rental vehicle classes that match, and you compare them by size, transmission, fuel type, mileage terms and sample rate. When you choose one, you continue to the rental provider to complete the reservation.
The vehicle is supplied by the rental provider you select at the booking step, not by American Drive Rentals. We do not own or operate a vehicle fleet.

Payment is processed by the rental provider or its booking system under that provider's terms. American Drive Rentals does not take rental payments on this site.
Typically a valid driver's licence held for a minimum period, a government-issued photo ID or passport, and a payment card in the main driver's name. Exact requirements are set by the provider and location.
Minimum rental age varies by provider, state and vehicle class, and drivers under 25 are often charged a young-driver surcharge. Check the provider's stated age policy before booking.
Some providers accept debit cards with additional checks such as proof of return travel or a credit check; others require a credit card in the main driver's name. Confirm this with the provider before you travel.
Most rental providers place a hold on the payment card at pickup. The amount and release timing are set by the provider, not by American Drive Rentals.
Additional drivers are usually allowed once they are registered on the rental agreement and meet the same licence and age requirements. An extra daily fee may apply.
Coverage requirements depend on state law, the provider and any coverage you already hold through a personal policy or credit card. Review what is included in the rental agreement before declining or adding cover.
Airport reservations often include a grace period, but this is provider-specific. Contact the rental provider directly with your flight number as soon as you know about a delay.
Modifications are handled by the provider that issued your reservation, using the confirmation number they sent you.
Cancellation is done through the provider that holds the booking, following the cancellation terms shown to you before you confirmed it.
Refunds, where they apply, are issued by the provider or booking system that took the payment, according to that provider's refund terms.
If nothing matches your dates and location, widen the date range, try a nearby airport or city pickup point, or contact us and we can point you to alternative search options.
One-way rentals are offered by many providers and usually carry a drop-off fee. Tick “Return to a different location” in the search form to plan for it, then confirm the fee with the provider.
Sample rates shown on this site are for comparison only and may exclude taxes, airport concession fees, surcharges, insurance and extras. The provider shows the full breakdown before you confirm.
Confirm the fuel policy, mileage allowance, deposit amount, additional-driver rules and the exact pickup address — airport counters are often in a separate consolidated facility.
